Many of us take time to ponder what the meaning of life is. For me, it's about being with those you love. As we change and mature, this becomes more important with each passing year. I strive to convey this truth in my work. It brings me great joy when my clients have a special and truly meaningful experience with their family, while entrusting me to capture such precious times in their lives.

WHAT I'M ABOUT

My Process

After your session, I get to work with editing and processing. I prefer a very true-to-life, classic look. My style could be described as bright and colorful! I then upload your images to a gorgeous online gallery, where you will be able to view, share and download your high definition images. A limited print release is also included. If you choose, you may order high quality, commercial grade prints or canvas for your home. You will now be a part of the Lemolo Mile Photography family!

after

We'll take a few minutes to get to know each other in person, and to get warmed up! I'll give you a quick education in various poses and how to feel and look like yourselves! We'll spend sixty to ninety minutes together, changing locations and looks as we go. My goal is to produce beautiful, sharp images while you have tons of fun!

during

I strive to make a session with me an enjoyable and relaxing experience for my clients. Being in front of the camera is not on everyone's list of top five favorite things, and it's understandable to be a little nervous. Before our time together, I'll walk through our timeline, my posing style and the best outfit choices for the look you want. We'll also find a location that best suits your preferences and helps you look your best.

I guess I’m what most would call a “people person”. I really love getting to know a new friend and creating a bond over food, music, parenting, etc. The multifaceted nature of a person is intriguing to me - everyone has their own story to tell.

I’m also a creative person. Right-brained to the max. I imagine and I daydream. I doodle on everything and love deep colors. Beginning with a piano and vocal background, I found photography through yearbook class in high school - as in film, darkroom, developer, stop bath, fixer and drying. Beyond the technical skills, our teacher assigned us the task of finding movement, emotion, and humanity. That is when it clicked for me - capturing a piece of what makes a person a person.

Maybe you have a sparkly new engagement ring on your hand and are starting to dream about your wedding day. Perhaps you have an infant on your hip and a toddler on your ankle. Maybe those babies are entering their last year of high school and looking to the future. New chapters in our lives are read quickly before moving onto the next. I’m excited to help tell your story - to take a glimpse of those you love, at this time in your life.

MORE about beth

I’ve lived in Washington my whole life, and call Poulsbo home. Poulsbo is a small (but growing!) town across the ferry from Seattle, and has strong Norwegian roots. (jeg snakker ikke norsk!) Poulsbo actually has the nickname “Little Norway”! Our high school mascot is the Viking. Our local bakery features the Viking Donut. Our town has a celebration called Viking Fest, which always falls around my birthday, so I just say it’s my birthday party!

Speaking of birthdays, mine (May 19) seems to be one of the most uncommon! I’ve only met a couple of people who share it! Do you know someone with this birthday?

Back to my hometown - there’s a winding road along Liberty Bay that leads right into downtown Poulsbo called Lemolo Shore Drive. This is where my company name comes from! When I was trying to thinking a business name, I thought of my community and what spot was one of my favorites. This peaceful drive along the water topped the list!

I’ve been married since 2004 to my high school sweetheart and we have three quickly growing daughters. I’m also a homeschool mom, which I think should qualify me for a Starbucks for Life gift card!

Being from the Seattle area, coffee is a big deal around here. I’m just now getting on the bandwagon! My dad worked as a salesman for a coffee company for years and both of my parents drink it black. I'm finally coming around to "grown up coffee" without sugar. My order is an americano with cream!

You’d think I’d be used to the rain around here, but I actually hate it! Give me sun and heat any day! I escape to find it at least once a year during the rainy season. Lake Chelan is my favorite place on earth!
